Photo of the Week: Alternate angle

The Romanov family, and in particular Nicholas and his daughters Maria and Anastasia, were avid lovers of photography as evidenced by the numerous photos they took. Sometimes this meant multiple people taking photos of the same moment in time as shown below.

The scene is a winter wonderland depicting Nicholas and, I presume, his daughters Olga, Tatiana, and Anastasia. On the far left-hand side of the photo is another camera. Whoever is wielding this camera took a near identical photo at the same moment.

It's a rock.

I wonder if the rock above is the same as the one below, albeit taken years apart.

A bit off tangent but that last photo reminds me of the video game Limbo.

Photo(s) of the Week: The June Trio

First a small life update: I changed schedules at work recently so I will be posting between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m. instead of my normal time of 3 a.m. except, possibly, on weekends.

Now, since the 15th is the midpoint of June it is only right to post about the June Trio of Grand Duchesses Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia, who were all born this month.
